Holiday Drinks!

Good morning blog friends! The holidays are a great time to indulge in some special holiday treats. I love anything minty and there are lots of yummy treats that are only available during this season.

A classic winter treat is the Peppermint milkshake from Chick-fil-A. Peppermint is one of my favorites. I love to put a peppermint stick in any hot chocolate that I drink. If you have lots of leftover candy canes, you can put them in a food processor and make a similar drink at home. Just add some milk, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, and ice cream, and you're ready to go!

You might also want to try these holiday drinks from Starbucks. They have caramel creme brulee, peppermint mocha, and gingerbread latte. We're doing a secret santa gift exchange at work and have to bring a little something every day for our friend. Tomorrow, a special someone will be surprised by a gingerbread latte since I know how much she enjoys decadent gingerbread!

If you're staying at home, you can make hot chocolate or peppermint chocolate to keep you warm this winter. I like this hot chocolate from Williams Sonoma. It's great with a few marshmallows melted on top, too.

Best wishes to my blog friends for a cozy, wonderful day! We're supposed to get some sleet and freezing rain, so this should help keep me warm.

  2. WOW! That's a great deal on the Lilly at Goodwill! I've had some luck for my minnies at local consignment stores from time to time.

I LOVE the Alchemist. Such a great book. The whole experience of southern Spain is amazing. You should go to Sevilla during Holy Week. It's absolutely amazing (and not as hot as summer!)

    Have a great day!
