Homemade Hot Chocolate

What could be better than a cup of homemade hot chocolate on a cold, snowy day? Remember I told you about selling hot chocolate to benefit the Red Cross Haitian relief efforts? Well now, I'm going to share Grandmother's delicious recipe with you so that you can enjoy this delicious winter drink, too.

It's so easy to make. These ingredients will make QUITE a large batch of hot chocolate mix. The mix also makes a great gift when presented in a pretty jar or container decorated with a pretty grosgrain ribbon. We gave everyone who purchased a cup of hot chocolate a copy of the recipe!

8 quarts of Carnation instant powdered milk
1 pound Nestle quick chocolate powder
6 ounce jar Coffeemate
1 cup powdered sugar
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Your mix should look like this:

To prepare:
Stir 2 heaping tablespoons of the mix in a mug of very hot water. Add marshmallows or a cinnamon stick.
