Valentines Day for Foodies

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and gifts of delicious food and chocolate make great gifts for everyone in your life. Here are some treats to show someone you care on Valentine's Day.

Fancy Cakes by Leslie is my mother's favorite bakery. We surprised her this summer by designing a cake with Leslie for the special occasion. It was so stunning that she had tears in her eyes when she saw it! I just know that this gorgeous and delicious cupcake is going to make her day. As an aside, Leslie's cakes are very well known and are perfect for any social event including parties, weddings, and fundraisers.

If chocolate covered strawberries or truffles are more your style, try Shari's Berries. To save 15% off of your order, use this link.

These s'mores from Williams Sonoma are made from graham crackers that are dipped in Guittard milk or dark chocolate. Sandwiched in between is a hand-cut marshmallow. Absolute heaven for your Valentine.

I enjoy macaroons and adore these Valentine French Macaroons from Sucre. These adorable red and white macaroons are filled with white chocolate and raspberry. As close as you can get to Laduree by mail or close to home.

Watch this video to see how the macaroons are made in Sucre's studio.

Hope that these ideas have given you some inspiration for Valentine's Day. Have a wonderful day! I'm hoping that the groundhog cooperates with me and predicts that spring will soon be here!

xoxo
