Market Tote & Giveaway Winner

These market totes from Lilly Pulitzer are an environmentally friendly and stylish way to carry your goodies. They're not only perfect for the supermarket, but make great shopping bags for the mall or trips to the farmer's market. The bags hold a lot of things and have strong handles. I love them all! At $9.95, you can buy a few. I'm thinking that these make great little gifts for friends.

My friend Linda at Persnickety Palm is offering Lilly lovers an extra incentive to "go green" this spring. During the month of March, if you buy a Lilly Pulitzer Market Bag and use it to take home your Lilly goodies, you'll get 5 percent off your purchase. To make the deal even sweeter, every time you bring your market bag back to Persnickety Palm and use it instead of a regular bag, you'll get 5 percent off your purchase. The bag practically pays for itself this way and helps you go green! I love it.

Interesting fact: Approx. 380 billion plastic bags are used in the United States every year. That’s more than 1,200 bags per US resident, per year.

Now...here's the exciting news. I used random.org to generate the lucky winner of the Garnet Hill shower curtain and am happy to announce to you that the following person will receive the shower curtain in a few days...

  1. I'm thinking a market bag would be good for beach/pool so Becca could put her wet towel/suit in it without ruining the bag, towel or suit! A young mom could use one as a tote for plastic toys for the playground! I'd use one for my wine bottle, plastic glasses, and snacks for sunset cocktails on the beach with friends! The possibilities are endless!

I adore my market totes and can honestly say that when I put them on the belt @ the grocery store, the checkout clerks SMILE! ;)

  9. Totally cute, that would be so much nicer to carry out of stores instead of the plain old cloth bags with NO Character that I have, bonus is that it's the colors I love.
