The Silken Thread

Cupcakes and Couture? What a wonderful combination. Many congratulations to Laura from The Silken Thread who is celebrating her 5th Anniversary this week. It's easy to find someone to monogram or personalize items, but The Silken Thread Couture Embroidery offers fine quality embroidered items at an affordable price. I particularly LOVE the children's embroidered clothing and monogrammed luxury linens. These items are perfect baby or wedding gifts.

Laura and I first met when we both had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Lilly Pulitzer Pink Palace a few years ago and have kept in touch since them. I was honored to celebrate with her at the anniversary party.

The party was held at Frosting Cupcakery in Chevy Chase.
