Fun Fall Weekend

This weekend was a perfect time to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather. On Saturday, my girls joined Margaret's two preppy girls at Pumpkinville. Here are two of the girls on the spooky bus! There were so many activities including a zipline, slides, and a hay ride that went through a spooky stream! Luckily, Margaret held on to Natalia because there was one part of the ride that I thought she would end up in the water.

The animal park is also a lot of fun.

Chickens and turkeys ran wild among the sheep and goats. Mr. Turkey scared me silly because he flew almost straight up into the air and into a stall with a goat beside where I was standing. After eating the goat's food, he flew up to the rail, landing with a thud. This guy must have weighed a good 40 or 50 pounds and had a wing span of about 5 feet. I'm not exaggerating!

Sunday was another fun adventure with more pumpkins, slides, and hayrides. At Summers Farm, the traditional "ball pit" was filled with dried corn! When Natalia came out of the pit, she had corn everywhere. We counted more than 20 pieces of corn tucked away in her clothes and socks!

What did you do this weekend? Are you ready for fall?

Have a fantastic start to the week!
