Maria Elena and Carlos have known each other for about 10 years after meeting in Acapulco and look radiant in this picture, don't you think? The bride's gown is from Oscar de la Renta and has a 30 foot train.

My beautiful friend Sylvianne shared news about the wedding via facebook. Whatever did we do before facebook???

The dessert buffet by Paulina Abascal had over 100 different varieties!

What a wedding! I'll be in Mexico in less than a month to attend my friend Maria's wedding and am counting the days! So exciting.
Have a fantastic day.
Oh, and if you're ever in Mexico City, I highly recommend a visit to the San Agustin Church. You can pray to San Charbel, a Lebanese saint. Buy a ribbon from the woman outside to write your prayer on, and tie it around his statue. Once the wish comes true, go back to the statue and tie a white ribbon in its place to show thanks. I have made many petitions there and many have come true! After that, enjoy the delicious restaurants and fantastic shopping in the fashionable Polanco neighborhood.
WOW! 1500 guests! That dessert buffet is unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteWorth it for the dessert buffet!
ReplyDeleteI bet we could've snuck in un-noticed even just to peek at the desserts!
ReplyDeleteHolly Molley!! That's all I'm saying... Please take lots of pics at the wedding you attend!! We'd love to see ;)
