The minnies and I walked towards the store and were immediately drawn to the gorgeous color theme of the spring collection where pinks, blues, and greens predominate. The look is very “old school preppy” and is so timeless.
Don’t you just love these bowties? The red crab bowtie is such a perfect Maryland tie! Another print that was so incredibly clever was a “hot dog.” There was an adorable dog with big ears flapping in the breeze while cooling off with a fan.
There was something for everyone at this party. The music was loud and fun and the atmosphere reminded me of a warm weather college party circa 1993. Yummy food and tasty drinks were on the menu. Everyone ended up with a foam whale hat, too!
Wendy is another one of my favorite peeps.
A store with part of a boat for a cash register area is pretty cool, but these ties make it even more interesting! The very first people who visited the store when it first opened signed ties that now are interesting decorations. Of course, I noticed the Sigma Nu letters right away on the first tie...I just spent a little bit of time there during my college days. When I wasn't at the library! haha
Now all I have to do is wait for a warm day to wear my blue and white striped strapless dress I got at the party...
Thanks to Jennifer for the sweet invitation and to the peeps at Vineyard Vines for such a fun event!
xoxo

Thank you for posting. I haven't been to the Galleria in over a year so had no clue they'd just opened. Yea! No more ordering through the catalog or trying to find parking at Georgetown.
