Quick Fix

Giving a manicure to yourself or a friend at home just got easier! Fix any smudges with the Nail Corrector Pen from Essie. This ingenious tool cleans excess polish from around your cuticles and nails with ease. You won’t have to worry about messing up your perfectly polished nails with nail polish remover to fix one nail.

Or in my case, you won’t mess up a manicure by fixing your minnies’ manicure! I find myself fixing and painting their nails (all 40 of them!) much more than my own nails.

The corrector pen is certainly an improvement from the old cotton on a stick dipped in nail polish routine. The tip of the pen is easy to manipulate and draws a clean line of polish remover wherever you need it.

But here’s the best news. The tip is replaceable and the pen can be refilled with nail polish remover. It’s a great tool for at home use and is perfect for travel.

The pink color is pretty cool, too!

Maryland Pink and Green Tips:
- I’ve found that it’s a good idea to clean the tip in between different colors, especially if you’re using a dark color.
- The tip seemed pretty stiff when I first started to use it, but softened after being saturated with nail polish remover a few times.
- Practice dispensing the correct amount of nail polish remover a before using it on your nails. It is a little tricky to get the right amount. (I had too much at first!)

You can buy the Essie Corrector Pen at Ulta.

What are your best home manicure tips?

  1. Good to know! The Q-tip soaked in nail polish remover never really worked for me :)
