Farewell to Summer at Chincoteague

Happy Tuesday! Pink and Green greetings from Chincoteague, Virginia. The minnies and I are loving our last hurrah of the summer this week at the beach. The island is calm and relaxing, with no high rise hotels or resorts and no traffic.

Some highlights of our trip include...

Climbing the steps of the Assateague Lighthouse built in 1867...

Enjoying delicious island food, especially the ice cream...

Learning about marine biology from an up close view...There is a live animal in the shell!

Finding some crabs and clams for dinner...If only I knew what to do with the clams.

Relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the island...

Have a beautiful day! We're headed out to find some shells this morning.

xoxo
