Preppy Blog Giveaways & the Cake

Last Friday, quite a few bloggers shared their giveaways on the giveaway link, so I'm going to continue the linky to help the preppy blogging community share fun giveaways with each other.   Spread the word and link up your preppy blog giveaway.

Everyone can share their blog giveaway in this linky!  Join me for Preppy Blog Giveaway Link Up Friday.

Here's how it works:
If you are a blogger hosting a giveaway, feel free to link up here. I will host this linky every Friday.
- Please link with your blog name or item giving away and end date
- Link directly to the giveaway, not your homepage
- Link as many giveaways as you would like!
- For even more exposure for your giveaway, share the post on Twitter, Facebook or other social media sites, using the bookmarks at the end of the post!
- Feel free to add this link or button on your blog.

If you don't have a blog, share this link as a fab resource for your friends. Enter as many giveaways as you wish, finding them all in one place.

This year in Social Studies, the minnies studied the State of Maryland. One of their favorite facts about Maryland is that our state cake is the Smith Island cake. Not for the faint of heart, a traditional Smith Island cake has between 8 to 12 layers of cake filled with frosting. The most well known Smith Island cakes are yellow cakes with chocolate frosting, but other varieties are popular, too.

On our way home from the beach this week, we had to investigate this unique island and special treat. Yum!

Have a beautiful Friday!

xoxo

  5. Bethany dear, might you have the recipe for this cake? My middle son, Augie, saw it and said he wants that cake for his 10th birthday on September 7th. Thanks in advance! xx
