Standing Ovation for Evie

Yesterday, I stepped back to past with some nostalgic toys and clothing that still make me smile. Remember that I told you nostalgia is a powerful thing? When I was perusing the new Lilly Pulitzer fall catalog, I noticed some print names that put a huge smile on my face. Bright Navy Break a Leg reminds me of my former acting days and Pink Tomato Standing Ovation is fabulous. A pink tomato and a standing ovation? Fantastic!

But one of the best names and prettiest print stories is Bright Navy Ring Pop Jacquard. Everyone loves candy and girls of all ages love ring pops. We also love real rings, too!

This trump l’oeil print is too cool. Do you see the bling of  diamond rings, huge candy ring pops, or do you see giant candy wrappers? Whatever you see, the combination of Bright Navy and Kelly Green is gorgeous. The colors are perfect for lightweight dresses that are easy and cool to wear now and transition perfectly to fall.

The Evie dress in Bright Navy Ring Pop Jacquard is gorgeous. It’s work appropriate and the length is great. I love the bow detail at the clean waist. Good news…the dress can be washed at home, no need to send it to the dry cleaners.

What can you wear with this dress now? Well, right now, I love bright navy and green paired with pops of white and gold. Later as you transition to the fall, this combination is pretty with more navy, ivory, or perhaps chocolate brown.
