My New Pippa Boots

Have you ever dreamed about a fabulously fun and creative job in fashion? Every season, I eagerly await the collections from my favorite designers to look at the style and print names. If there is a style named Bethany, it immediately makes it to my closet, simply because I think that it is fun to have the “Bethany” shoes from Cole Haan or the “Bethany” bathing suit.

Sometimes a style is named after a famous person. Perhaps you have a pair of Wellington boots, named after the Duke of Wellington. Nehru jackets were oh so popular during the 1960s. Lilly Pulitzer’s popular Jacqueline dress is named after Jackie Kennedy.

When Kassie from Simply Soles told me about their name the boot contest, I knew that I had to submit my entry. You know that I like Pippa Middleton’s fun sense of style and I love the way she wears boots. Boots are such a fantastic complement to her casual and dressy outfits.

Imagine my surprise when I learned that I had won Simply Soles’ name the boot contest! Here are my new Pippa boots by Lilybee. They’re perfect.

Pippa Middleton would love them, don't you think?

Now, if only I could get a job naming whimsical prints, OPI nail polish colors, or style names, I’d be thrilled. Ok, so I will settle with a Bethany dress from one of my favorite designers soon. . .hint, hint.

xoxo
