Although I’m not in the habit of reviewing bags, many of you have asked about my Pippa bag, so I decided to share my opinion with you. It's tough to shop without seeing the bag, so hopefully this review will give you an idea about what the Bristol aka Pippa bag is like. Pippa is the perfect size for all of my things and is comfortable to carry on my arm or in my hand. There is a shoulder strap included with the bag, but I prefer to carry the bag without the strap.
The color of the bag is perfect for all seasons. It’s a gorgeous shade of gray and has just a bit of a lavender tone to it. The gold tone hardware is pretty and the construction of the bag is very solid. I like the black zippers and the sturdy handles.
The bag has two small zipped pockets on the outside. With lots of compartments, pouches, and zippers, this purse is an ideal choice for my organized type A personality. The purse has three separate large compartments. A space for a cell phone, wallet, and separate zipped compartment help keep my items easy to find. An ipad can fit nicely in the center compartment.
The lining is the Modalu shell motif that is also found on the pull tabs.
The other lined compartments offer lots of space for everything that you carry. I like it that all of the compartments zip closed, too.
You can see that everything fits quite nicely in this medium sized bag. The sturdy bag retains its shape even when it is filled with a lot of items.
The bag matches with everything in my wardrobe! Here I paired it with my Elizabeth McKay coat, black pants, and Lilly Pulitzer sweater with gold tone buttons for a crisp fall day.
