Which One Should I Wear?

Later this fall, I'll be going to a Clemson game.  Since I wanted to wear something purple or orange, I thought that I had the perfect game day dress already hanging in my closet...Elizabeth McKay's Lindsay dress in Mascot Orange.

But then I started looking at the newest collection from Elizabeth McKay and thinking about this weekend's special discount for Fashion Week.  Perhaps I should wear a new dress to the game.  Although I love practically everything at Elizabeth McKay and am always hard pressed to choose just one, I've found two dresses that would be cute for game day.

Here's the Shirt Dress in Purple Peacock.  I like it that it has a belt and love the gold tone buttons.

The other option is the Marilou dress, also in Purple Peacock.  This style is brand new at Elizabeth McKay and I'm not sure how it would look on me since I have never tried it.

With any choice, I'll probably be pairing it with tights and boots since it should be fairly chilly in November.  I may wear it with my Elizabeth McKay beige cape, too.

So help me decide...which dress should I wear?

Please take a moment to vote and leave a comment.  I'd love to hear your opinion.

Pink and Green Picks...and a giveaway, too!

If it's pink and green, it's probably something that I'll love!

Acrylic Monogram Necklaces are so popular right now! What better choice could there be besides pink, practically a neutral color in my wardrobe.

One of the newest additions to my classroom is the portable speaker in this pretty May Flowers print.  It's the perfect volume for music during the first 5 minutes of class.  Earlier this summer, I stocked my classroom full of pretty pink and green from Purseladytoo.  The customer service is stellar.  Receiving a package from them is like getting a birthday present; everything is neatly wrapped and tied with a pretty ribbon.

Of course, I needed the matching desk caddy, too!

What other goodies can you find at Purseladytoo?  Well, I'm partial to this little number.  Pink, green, bamboo, and needlepoint?  Oh yes!  The ultimate in pink and green from Smathers and Branson is perfect for small change and fits in any bag.

My friends at Purseladytoo sent me one of these adorable coin purses to give to one lucky reader!  There are many ways to enter to win, so click the widget and enter the giveaway.

The contest ends next Thursday, so enter to win today!

Falling for Monograms

Although the weather feels like summer, I know that the crisp fall air is just around the corner.  I'm gearing up for the fall season with some monogrammed essentials.

Fall means football, tailgates, and festivals.  A monogrammed folding chair is a perfect choice to instantly recognize your chair!  I've been using this chair during the minnies' Poms practices and love it.

If you're going to a game, you're going to need a Game Day dress.  Show your spirit and pride in style with a monogrammed t-shirt dress.  It's incredibly comfortable to wear, but looks polished and chic.

Monogrammed clogs are adorable with fall pants!  I love the pop of color that these green and navy clogs add on a cold and gray day.

During Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale, I took advantage of free monogramming for a North Face hoodie I picked up for cool fall days.

What are you monogramming this fall?

My New Etsy Store!

My girls love the Emi Jay hair ties but I don't love the price.  This weekend, I made oodles of elastic hair ties for my minnies and had many extras.   Quite a few people told me that the colorful hair ties looked very professional and that I should sell them!  I was flattered and glad that my work looked good, but I still had 80+ hair ties on my hands.

So I decided to set up an Etsy Shop!

I put sets of 5 elastic hair ties on heavy card stock and stamped it with a floral design in a matching color.  Here's the final result in three color combinations.

Preppy Pinks and Green
Pretty Jewel Tones for Fall
Classic Brights to Match Your Lilly
These adorable bands are sealed with Fray Check, so they're long lasting, too!

Normally, a set of 5 costs $6 plus shipping at my Etsy Store, but I'm offering a blog special just for you!  Send me a private message and I'll send you an invoice for your set of hair ties for only $5 plus $2 shipping until supplies last.

Look for many more colors and combinations coming later this fall!

What do you think of my newest project?
