Freebies & Discounts for teachers

If you've been reading Maryland Pink and Green for a while, you already know that I love my job.  Teaching is such a rewarding career and I have wonderful students.  Today, my AP Spanish students are taking the AP Exam.  The test is so rigorous and is equivalent to a 300 level college course.  I decided to have a breakfast for them before the test to give them a great start on the day.

Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day.  If you're a teacher, thank you for all that you do.  If you know a teacher, thank him or her for educating our children.

Teachers who are shopping for a professional wardrobe, can also take advantage of some wonderful savings at a few of my favorite stores.  Loft, J. Crew, and Vineyard Vines all offer teacher discounts of 20% on in store purchases with your school identification.
