Before we saw the show, we enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch in the Roof Terrace Restaurant. This buffet is so interesting because it is set up in the kitchen! It's fun to see the chefs in action as they prepare food for the buffet.
Everything you could imagine is on display. An assortment of breads, pastries, and cheeses is amazingly tempting. There are traditional breakfast selections like Eggs Benedict and French Toast. But I headed straight for the seafood! The spicy shrimp and seaweed salad tasted so good.
A dessert buffet makes the perfect ending to a delicious meal.
I chose a homemade Ho-Ho and Oreo cookie. Very good choices on my part, although Alexia said that her chocolate mousse was incredible.
The gift shop at the Kennedy Center is not the typical theater gift shop! You can buy jewelry and accessories that are designed just like some of the most iconic pieces in Jackie Kennedy's personal collection.

We finished our shopping just in time to see the show! It was fun and uplifting. We loved the elves dancing on their knees while wearing "shoes." So clever.
