Hello! I’m thrilled to announce the re-launch of Maryland
Pink and Green! Watch this space for new content, new ideas, and fabulous
giveaways to help celebrate with me.
The past year has been quite a whirlwind for me. Probably
the biggest news is that I completed the process for National Board Certification
for Teaching Spanish. The portfolios and assessments were a tremendous amount
of work and I’m proud to have completed them. I really do love my job and enjoy
my students. This year, I worked particularly hard to prepare my AP Spanish
students, with a new curriculum and Saturday study sessions, and know that
their scores will be fabulous.
Life at home is great. Almost overnight, my minnies are not
so Minnie anymore. Natalia and Alexia turn 13 in August. They’re still best
friends and love their Lilly, although they’re wearing more and more from the
women’s department instead of minnies’. They keep me busy in my job as
Executive Chauffeur as I shuttle them from activity to activity.
John and I are still getting settled in our new home, but I
think that it’s best to take the decorating process slowly instead of buying
everything new all at once. Perhaps I’ll share a glimpse at the house in an
upcoming blog post.
Please leave a comment to say hello! I’d love to get reacquainted
with you.
I’ll close today with a quote from Arthur Brisbane to the Syracuse Advertising Men's Club, in March 1911: "Use a picture. It's worth a thousand
words."

So glad you're back. I teach and coach and know exactly why you've been away from blogging! It's a lot to keep up with. I am also finishing up another degree right now and looking to move forward in my career (hopefully as a school district administrator). I tried blogging a few years ago and couldn't get it going consistently! :-) Love seeing your gorgeous girls!
