Hello! I’m thrilled to announce the re-launch of Maryland Pink and Green! Watch this space for new content, new ideas, and fabulous giveaways to help celebrate with me.
The past year has been quite a whirlwind for me. Probably the biggest news is that I completed the process for National Board Certification for Teaching Spanish. The portfolios and assessments were a tremendous amount of work and I’m proud to have completed them. I really do love my job and enjoy my students. This year, I worked particularly hard to prepare my AP Spanish students, with a new curriculum and Saturday study sessions, and know that their scores will be fabulous.
Life at home is great. Almost overnight, my minnies are not so Minnie anymore. Natalia and Alexia turn 13 in August. They’re still best friends and love their Lilly, although they’re wearing more and more from the women’s department instead of minnies’. They keep me busy in my job as Executive Chauffeur as I shuttle them from activity to activity.
John and I are still getting settled in our new home, but I think that it’s best to take the decorating process slowly instead of buying everything new all at once. Perhaps I’ll share a glimpse at the house in an upcoming blog post.
Please leave a comment to say hello! I’d love to get reacquainted with you.
I’ll close today with a quote from Arthur Brisbane to the Syracuse Advertising Men's Club, in March 1911: "Use a picture. It's worth a thousand words."
|Easter Sunday! I'm wearing the Lilly Pulitzer Ollie dress.|
