During the Christmas holiday, I visited one of my favorite places on earth, Williamsburg, Virginia. Although it is fabulous to explore any time of the year, the holiday season is particularly beautiful, with adorned with wreaths and garlands made with natural ingredients. I'm determined to make decorations like these for my home in December 2015.
Seasonably warm weather for some of the trip allowed me to leave my winter coat at the hotel! What a treat!

On other days, it seemed like we had the city to ourselves because of heavy rains. Luckily, my girls bring sunshine (and a big Lilly golf umbrella) with them wherever they go. By the way, I highly recommend the refillable mugs if you're going to Colonial Williamsburg. The refillable mug is a great deal at $13 and includes free refills during the entire year. The girls especially enjoyed the hot cider and hot chocolate.

Have a beautiful day and a fantastic start to the new year!
Welcome back to blogging! I personally find it easiest to write when I want to write (or have something to write about of note), rather than my setting a quota for myself. I've always enjoyed your posts though, and am glad to see you back however often you decide to write!
