Go For the Green

St. Patrick's Day is less than two weeks from now, so you're probably starting to think about what you are going to wear to celebrate. St. Patrick's Day is probably one of my favorite holidays because it's stress-free. There's no need to shop for presents for anyone and a meal or celebration is usually super casual and fun. Every year, I liberally use green food coloring to turn everything from pasta to mashed potatoes a pretty shade of green. The girls get such a kick out of it.

Working in a school is a blast on St. Patrick's Day because everyone gets into the spirit of things and wears their best green. Last year, the calculus teacher dressed as a leprechaun, complete with tights and little black shoes with gold buckles on them. The students loved it and everyone wanted to take a selfie with him.

As our good fortune would have it, we're invited to two St. Patrick's Day parties, one on Friday night and another on Saturday night. I'm carefully considering what to wear. Here are some of my favorite picks for St. Patrick's Day green for women in a variety of price ranges, many with fantastic sale prices.
