Spa Day + Lilly Pulitzer Popover

What does the cat do while the tiny mice are in Detroit?

She pampers herself!

Yesterday, I enjoyed an afternoon at the Red Door Salon. My hair suffers quite a bit of abuse that I inflict on it with hair color, straighteners, and hair dryers, so the Olaplex treatment offers a perfect solution for silky hair.

Bryan applied the Olaplex Bond Multiplier No.1 to my dry hair using a hair color brush and left me to relax for about 10 minutes. He returned to apply Bond Perfector No.2 and I sat for another 10 minutes or so. The process fits into even the busiest schedules and really makes a difference in your hair. Everyone has 20 minutes for this "hair insurance" treatment.

My skilled stylist completed the service with a shampoo and fabulous blow out. I'm hoping that this can last for a day or so with the help of some dry shampoo. At Bryan's suggestion, I purchased the Olaplex Hair Perfector No. to use once a week until my next treatment.

Voila!

Since it was a super casual, lazy day, I took advantage of the cool summer temperatures and wore my Lilly Pulitzer Popover with some comfy Zella capris (on sale right now!) and fire coral Jack Rogers Devyn sandals. If you don't already own a Lilly Pulitzer Skipper popover, you'll want to add one to your collection. It's soft and comfortable. Depending on the print, you can pair it with a vest once the cooler temperatures arrive. I think that it fits true to size; I'm wearing a size small.

How do you treat yourself? Do you enjoy going to the salon or is retail therapy more exciting to you?
