Lilly Pulitzer: Shopping for Spring

Spring will be here before you know it! Although I always enjoy shopping of any kind, I especially take delight in shopping for spring clothes. After a long, cold winter, the bright colors and fun prints of spring make me smile.

Lilly Pulitzer is my go-to source for spring fashion. From an outfit for Easter to dresses for spring parties and events, I need pretty pieces for a variety of events.

Every season, I like to add a Skipper Printed Popover to my collection. This versatile piece works well with transitional spring weather. Paired with jeans or pants, the popover keeps chilly spring air away from you. Popovers fit true to size and I comfortably wear a small or a medium.

Another wardrobe building piece I buy every year is the Elsa top. Like the Skipper popover, the Elsa top works well in almost any temperature and looks fantastic worn with a myriad of bottoms. I wear a size small in this top that fits true to size and is fairly free fitting at the hip while still flattering the figure.

People recognize special trim and lace details in Lilly Pulitzer dresses. The seahorse lace in the Largo Cut-In Lace Shift Dress is absolutely stunning! I hope to try this on this week and will report back to you about the fit.

Last year, Alexia fell in love with the Raegan Fit and Flare Dress. I'm thrilled to see it released again this spring. The silhouette of the dress flatters all shapes and sizes and fits true to size. The lace on the bodice is backed in beige for modesty, offering a unique detail that is appropriate for many situations, including church.
